Mike Q

Hailing from the flailing small town of Punta Arena De La Ventana came a young prodigy that was consumed by world Domination. At a tender of Age of 4 he knew his only way to achieve this plan was to get $ and get $ fast. He started a small clan called the Trese Quiroz where they quickly cornered the market for selling fruits and vegetables on street corners to the unsuspecting American tourists that frequented his home town. It wasn't until a sunny evening on May 12, 1984 that he realized his true passion in life, MUSIC. His first taste of Electronic music came across the airwaves of his TV when he heard the opening theme song for Airwolf on Telemundo. That was the exact moment that he knew he could reach millions and millions of people through the music he played and that was his first major step in achieving World Domination.

One day while in his home town the Trese Quiroz came up with a plan to smuggle their ring leader into the United states where there was an endless oppurtunity for growth for his business, and a way for him to start up his new dream, to become a DJ. He had boarded a local cruise ship destined for Los Angeles via a giant Sombrero that a tourist purchased from his Gang's newly aquired inventory. The plan was set and the birth of Mike Q was within an arms reach.

Once in Los Angeles he had struggled to get his feet off the ground. His business was slowly taken over from other memebers of rival gangs which quickly pushed him out of the Orange trade and into breeding Dogs that were cross bred with Rats. He began a lucrative business there where he was finally able to buy a set of turntables where he then began purchasing records.

After buying his first LP "Devestating Dave - Zip Rap" he began spinning at the local Chuckie Cheeze where the kids always wanted more. After not getting the respect he was looking for he decided to take it to the streets, Alahambra to be exact, where he starting passing out his new underground mix tape called The Dirty Quiroz Vol 1. With his new found success among the FOB's in Alhambra he was able to spread his music to the masses. From there he has been unstoppable. Mike Q had develpoed the skills that only the most famous DJ's dream of to date. No one ever had been able to spin a mix of Polka rock all the way down to Country Gospel the way this boy puts it together.

Currently residing in La Puente you can see M-to da-Q spinning his weekly residency on Sunday nights in the bassment of IMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH located in Alhambra. Be on the lookout for the new tag team session between Mike Q and Dj West Nile slated to come out in early Fall. The title of this session will properly be named the Ebola Donkey.
